P. A Venter Optometrists, established in 1990 and member of Value Vision, is a clinical Optometry practice. As the only Eye Care Practitioner (ECP) in the Springs area, we provide the highest quality eye care. We have the most current eye care technology on the far East Rand so to provide the highest quality personal care.
Over and above routine eye tests we perform visual field evaluations, wavefront ocular analysis, fundus photography, keratography, OCT scanning and intra-ocular pressures on every patient as part of the routine evaluation.

We also have Visigraphic technology under licence of Wise Eye to analyse children’s eye movements and oculo-motor control and we are qualified to perform cyclopleagic refractions on children of any age.

For patients with special demands like diabetic patients we are also qualified to perform complete dilated eye evaluations and we are the only practice on the far East Rand with a MPOD to define ARMD (age related macular degeneration) and measure the effect of the supplementation. We are agents and distributors of Vitasight.

Apart from branded frames we also have more affordable generic frames and package deals to suit every budget. We also have optical fitting and frame repair facilities should you wish to re-use or have a broken frame.
